Twisted Hate by Ana Huang Book Review

Twisted Hate by Ana Huang

Twisted Hate by Ana Huang is an Enemies to Lovers, Best Friend’s Brother book and the relationship between Josh and Jules is so intense and you could tell that there was chemistry and some feeling there. Twisted Lies was my favorite of the Twisted Series so far. After I read Twisted Games, I could not wait to read Twisted Hate because I knew that the story of Josh and Jules was going to be so good. Jules is studying for the Bar Exam to be a lawyer and Josh is an ER resident. They are forced to work together when she takes a job at the place where he is volunteering at.

When we get a little glimpse of Jules’s past, that is when I got invested in this book because I had to know what exactly happened in her past, I felt so bad for Jules that her past was coming back to haunt her. I do like how she ends up taking back her own life. I rooted for her when she did that. I was also happy when she gave Josh all his things back.

Josh was a good hero, but he had his faults. One of his faults was his perpetual need to not let things go or forgive. The way he treated Jules when she told him the truth broke my heart. I am glad that they were able to work it out though. When they weren’t caught, I could not believe it because I thought that they were going to be caught.

I like how Alex and Josh were able to work through their issues and become friends again. I also enjoyed the moments between the two. I found those to be the funniest and they always made me laugh.

Stella and Christian’s story is next, and I cannot wait to read their story. I like Christian, and we don’t know much about Stella so it will be nice to read about them.

The great thing about having a morally questionable best friend was that they didn’t question you when you did morally questionable things.

“Don’t insult me by pretending she doesn’t mean anything to you.”

“Ninety-nine percent of people in this world are idiots,” he said. “I regret to inform you that you’re one of them.”

Where was the ass kissing? The flattery? He gave up his company and flew to fucking London for Ava, but I couldn’t get so much as a sympathetic that sucks, man? Talk about getting the short end of the grovel stick.

“You did the same with him!” I gestured toward Alex, who watched the scene unfold with a bored expression. He didn’t even try to help. Traitor. “You guys were dating for months before I found out. Don’t be a hypocrite.”

“Since you’re my best friend, and one of the few people I can stand to be around for more than five minutes at a time,
