Twisted Games by Ana Huang Book Review

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Twisted Games by Ana Huang was so good. I could not stop reading for a second every time I turned the page, I wanted to know what was going to happen. The twist near the end of the book is something that I was not expecting, when it happened, I was like “Oh my god, what!!” I cried in this book as well not nearly as much as I did in the first book, but you will still cry.

Bridget was such a good heroine; I feel so bad for her when she is just out living her life and then she finds out her brother is abdicating the throne talk about your life-changing overnight. I do admire her for the way she stepped up and accepted that she is the crown princess and that she is going to be queen. I also really like her relationship with her grandfather and how he was there for her as she was learning about being the queen and crown princess. Another thing that I think is great about Bridget is how she was willing to not give up on having the Royal Marriage Law changed in parliament.

Rhys as a hero was also great. Rhys was not very welcoming and loving in the beginning but, I loved the dynamic between the two of them. I just loved all the parts where they would argue about her safety because you could tell she still wanted her freedom, but he also had to protect her as well. Rhys’s friendship with Christian was another thing that I liked I found it to be something that I looked forward to reading about when they would be on the page together.

FAVORITE QUOTES:

“Because you’re right. I do want you. But I don’t want to kiss or make love to you. I want to fuck you. I want to punish you for mouthing off and letting another man put his hands on you. I want to yank up that tiny fucking dress of yours and pound into you so hard you won’t be able to walk for days. I want all those things, even though I can’t have them. But if you don’t stop looking at me like that…” I tightened my grip on her chin and throat. She stared at me in the mirror, her lips parted and her eyes dark with heat. “I might take them anyway.”
