Malum Part 1

In Malum: Part 1 you learn about what happened to Tillie and where she has been. You will learn more about Tillie as well as learn more about Perdita. You also learn more about Michaela; you were introduced to her at the end of the Tacet a Mortuis. In this book, you get to see Nate as a dad, and I think he makes a good one.

Malum: Part 1

I feel bad for Nate because you can tell that he is happy to have Michaela in his life but, that he is hurt by the way he had to find out about her. I also think that he is hurt that he was not able to be there for Tillie. I do think that Nate does have feelings for Tillie, but he didn’t know how to deal with everything going on. I loved Tillie the best out of Madison’s two friends. I like how Tillie had feelings for Nate, but there were so many bad things that had happened between them that it was hard to see them together at all in this book. I liked seeing her with Michaela; she was such a good mom.

The story of what’s going on with Madison and Bishop is so good and it leaves me wanting to know what is going to happen in their relationship. Tatum in this book is the worst friend because Tillie is back, and she and Nate are sort of in the process of working on their relationship and she is just concerned about how that will affect her relationship with Nate. Brantley in this book is still a mystery, but his personality is more shown in this book. I enjoy how he is helping Tillie make Nate jealous and I find it kind of funny.
